Written by a person
Essays are written and edited by Santiago Ochoa. We may use tools to research or tidy drafts, but the observations, the opinions, and the judgment are human, and accountable to a real name.
Honest by default
We don’t do fake enthusiasm. If something is overrated, uncomfortable, or just not worth the trouble, we say so. We’d rather lose a reader’s interest than mislead them.
Affiliate independence
Commercial relationships (see the affiliate disclosure) never decide our opinions. What we write about is based on real experience, not commission.
